zMega VPN is a browser proxy extension. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Browsing history or visited URLs
• Personal information (name, email, address)
• Authentication credentials
• Financial or payment data
• Location data
• Device identifiers

Data Stored Locally

The extension stores the following data locally in your browser only. This data never leaves your device:

• Selected interface language
• Last selected proxy server
• Connection state (connected / disconnected)
• Cached server list

Network Requests

• api.zmega.eu/servers.json — fetches the list of available proxy servers. No personal data is sent.
• api.ipify.org — retrieves your current public IP address for display only. No data is stored.
• api.emailjs.com — used only when you manually submit a problem report. Contains: problem type, optional comment, selected server name. No personal data required.

Proxy Traffic

When connected, your browser traffic is routed through our proxy servers. We operate a strict no-logs policy — we do not record, monitor, or store any traffic.

Children's Privacy

This extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
